Mia

Mia Is camera shy but she looks pretty much like Merida from the movie Brave. Mia took riding lessons for quite a while but wanted more free time to bond with horses. What a perfect person to help our horses stay in shape! Mia has been developing her own relationships with the horses and they get into all kinds of shenanigans! The horses love her and I love seeing them have a girl to have fun with. Mia is cautious and thoughtful but also lets them just go freely forward, just like Brave Merida rides in the movie. We are so lucky to have Mia on our team!

"I come to babysit a very literal golden retriever (Louie) because his shenanigans remind me that he has feelings too. He has thoughts of his own, and his worries and stress are just as real as mine. I come to the barn when I've had a bad day. Sometimes Louie doesn't really help, but that's often because he's worried about something himself.
